Why Being Present in State Trucking Associations Matters

At Pedigree Technologies, we believe fleet technology is only part of the story. The other part is people.
That is why being active in state trucking associations and industry events is such an important part of how we work. These gatherings are not just conferences on a calendar. They are where real conversations happen between fleets, drivers, leaders, and technology partners.
The trucking industry is built on relationships. And while digital tools help fleets run more efficiently, trust is still built face-to-face.

"Showing up matters. Not behind a screen—but in the room, having real conversations about what fleets are actually facing. That’s how you truly understand a customer’s business—and that understanding is everything. It’s how we build better solutions, stronger partnerships, and real trust. We show up for our customers. Period." Jessica Slyter, VP of Marketing
Why Local Connection Matters
Every fleet operates a little differently depending on the region, the regulations, and the challenges they face day to day. That is why connecting at a local level is so valuable.
When we attend state trucking association conferences, we get the chance to listen first. We hear directly from fleet managers about what is working, what is not, and where they are feeling pressure. These conversations often shape how we think about product improvements, support, and future innovation.
It also gives us the opportunity to connect with current customers outside of a service call or email thread. Meeting in person helps strengthen relationships and gives us a clearer understanding of how our technology is being used in real operations.
Just as importantly, these events allow us to meet new fleets who are exploring ways to improve safety, efficiency, and visibility. Those early conversations often turn into long-term partnerships.
Building a Stronger Industry Together
The trucking industry is facing constant change. From safety expectations to supply chain pressure to technology adoption, fleets are being asked to do more with less.
No single company has all the answers. That is why collaboration matters.
State associations create a space where fleets, vendors, and industry leaders can come together and share ideas. For us, being part of that environment is not just about visibility. It is about contributing to the conversation and learning from others who are solving similar challenges in different ways.
When fleets share what they are seeing on the ground, it helps the entire industry move forward.

Being present at state trucking association events gives us the chance to stay connected to the people who matter most, the fleets and drivers who keep goods moving every day.
