FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
LAS VEGAS — Pedigree Technologies, a leading technology provider in fleet and asset management, today announced its participation in the Hard Hat Courage initiative, supporting suicide prevention efforts in partnership with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) during CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, North America’s largest construction trade show.
As part of its commitment, Pedigree Technologies donated to AFSP’s Hard Hat Courage initiative, which raises awareness, reduces stigma, and promotes mental health resources across the construction industry. The funds will help expand education, training, and outreach specifically tailored to construction workers, supervisors, and employers.
The construction industry continues to face disproportionately high suicide rates, underscoring the need for industry-wide engagement and open dialogue around mental health.
“Hard Hat Courage represents what this industry does best, showing up for one another,” said Dana Wuesthoff, CONEXPO-CON/AGG Show Director. “By supporting AFSP and this initiative, exhibitors like Pedigree Technologies are helping elevate a conversation that saves lives and strengthens our workforce.”
The Hard Hat Courage initiative brings together manufacturers, contractors, and industry professionals to champion mental health awareness and connect individuals with lifesaving resources.
“The construction industry has a powerful role to play in suicide prevention,” said Trisha Calabrese, Senior Vice President of Programs, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. “Support from companies like Pedigree Technologies helps us reach more people, break down stigma, and remind workers that help is available and hope is real.”
For Pedigree Technologies, participation reflects a broader commitment to workforce well-being, safety, and community impact.
“Our people are our greatest asset,” said Jessica Slyter, VP of Marketing. “Supporting the Hard Hat Courage initiative is one way we can stand alongside our industry peers to promote mental health, encourage open conversations, and help ensure every worker knows they are not alone.”
CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 brought together more than 2,000 exhibitors and construction professionals from around the world, providing a powerful platform to address critical issues impacting the industry, including workforce safety and mental health.
