Celebrating the Drivers Who Keep Everything Moving

Every day, millions of us get up, pour a cup of coffee, get the kids out the door, head to work, and go about our day without giving much thought to how the things we rely on actually got to us.

The groceries on the shelf. The fuel at the gas station. The medicine at the pharmacy. The parts that keep a factory running. The materials that build our homes and communities. Even that package sitting on your front step.

Behind nearly all of it, somewhere along the way, is a truck driver.

During National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, September 13–19, Pedigree Technologies is proud to recognize the professional drivers who spend their days—and plenty of nights—keeping our businesses, communities, and economy moving.

More Than Moving Freight

Truck drivers don't simply move products from Point A to Point B. They connect nearly every part of our economy.

They navigate early mornings, late nights, changing weather, construction zones, traffic, and tight delivery schedules. They spend days away from their families and countless hours behind the wheel so the rest of us can have access to the things we need, often without ever thinking about the journey those products took to reach us.

That's part of what makes this week so important. It's an opportunity to stop and recognize the people behind the wheel.

A Commitment to Safety

At Pedigree Technologies, we spend a lot of time talking about fleet safety—and for good reason. Technology can provide better visibility, identify risk, improve maintenance, and give fleets tools to make smarter decisions.

But technology is only part of the equation. Every safe mile ultimately depends on the person behind the wheel.

Professional drivers make thousands of decisions on the road every day. They complete inspections, monitor equipment, adjust to road and weather conditions, navigate alongside distracted motorists, and make choices that help protect themselves, their cargo, and everyone sharing the road with them.

That commitment deserves recognition.

Safety isn't just a metric on a dashboard. It's a driver making the right decision when no one else is watching.

Celebrating Three Drivers Who Go the Extra Mile

This year, we asked our customers to help us recognize the people behind the wheel by nominating drivers within their organizations who deserve a little extra appreciation.

We loved hearing the stories behind the nominations—from drivers who consistently put safety first to those who go out of their way to help their teammates, take care of their customers, and simply make their organizations better.

In celebration of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, we're excited to recognize three of those nominated drivers with a $250 Visa gift card and a well-deserved spotlight.

Meet Our 2026 Winners

Timothy B.

Centcorp Logistics LLC

Why he was nominated: I would like to nominate my company driver for his outstanding commitment to safety and professionalism. He is always on time, pays close attention to detail, consistently performs thorough pre-trip inspections, and takes pride in operating safely and responsibly every day.

Larry K.

Ristvedt Trucking Inc

Why he was nominated: My driver is just shy of 80 years old, and he is one of my hardest working truck drivers. He has been with us for over 17 years. He is very dedicated and can run circles around drivers half his age. His wife is in the nursing home, and he still works full-time and doesn't slow down so he can provide for both of them. I can depend on him and never have to worry about the load getting to its destination securely, safely, and on time.

Lewis C.

Gale Storer Transportation

Why he was nominated: Lewis "Rusty" has been working for our family trucking business for at least 20 years. He has at least 3 million safe driving miles. He shows up on time, no drama, and easy to work with. We wish we had more like him driving for us!

Congratulations to our three winners, and thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate a driver and share a little about the people who keep their organizations moving.

Most importantly, thank you to all professional truck drivers for the work you do every day.

To the Drivers: Thank You

This week, we're especially grateful for the drivers who keep showing up and getting the job done.

Thank you for the early mornings.

Thank you for the long stretches away from home.

Thank you for taking safety seriously.

Thank you for keeping businesses running and shelves stocked.

Thank you for navigating the unexpected and still finding a way to deliver.

And thank you for doing a job that most of us depend on far more than we probably realize.

At Pedigree Technologies, we're proud to work alongside the fleets and drivers who keep our world moving. Our job is to build technology that helps make yours a little safer, smarter, and more connected, and we don't take that responsibility lightly.

Happy National Truck Driver Appreciation Week from all of us at Pedigree Technologies.

To every professional driver out there: we see you, we appreciate you, and we're grateful for every mile you drive.
