OVERVIEW
What Is TIPR™?
The Telematics Information Profile Report (TIPR™) is a standardized report developed by SpeedGauge to help fleets share telematics-based operational and safety information with insurance professionals.
Rather than relying solely on claims history, loss experience, or application questionnaires, TIPR™ provides additional insight into fleet activity, trip behavior, and operational patterns.
Customers with TIPR™ access can download the report directly from OneView®. The report is updated monthly and can be shared with an insurance broker, carrier, or underwriter during renewal and risk-management discussions.
DEVELOPED BY
SpeedGauge, via the Driven Data Network — an independent, insurance-recognized data source.
REFRESH CYCLE
Updated monthly, so the report reflects how your fleet is operating right now — not just at renewal time.
ACCESS
Available to OneView® customers with TIPR™ enabled. Downloadable directly from the platform.
SCORING
What Is a Fleet FAIR Score?
The fleet FAIR Score provides a high-level view of your fleet’s current risk exposure based on telematics data. Using a scale from 350 to 850, the score compares your fleet with similar operations using driving behavior, vehicle activity, and operating-environment data.
Rather than focusing only on individual drivers, the FAIR Score evaluates performance across the fleet. TIPR™ also provides individual scores for each included vehicle, helping managers identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
The FAIR Score is updated monthly, giving your team a consistent way to monitor changes in fleet risk over time.

BENEFITS
How Can TIPR™ Help Your Fleet?
TIPR™ can help support conversations around fleet safety by providing standardized telematics data that reflects how your vehicles are operated every day.
Demonstrate your ongoing commitment to driver safety and risk management.
Benchmark your fleet's risk against similar operations.
Showcase operational improvements beyond historical claims data.
Support insurance renewal discussions with standardized telematics reporting.
Identify fleet-wide and vehicle-level risk patterns.
Help insurance partners better understand your fleet's safety initiatives.
Insurance coverage, pricing, and underwriting decisions are determined by individual insurance carriers. TIPR™ and the FAIR Score do not guarantee premium reductions, policy changes, or specific coverage terms. They can, however, support more informed conversations about fleet risk.
INSIDE THE REPORT
What Information Does TIPR™ Provide?
TIPR™ includes both high-level fleet insights and detailed vehicle-level information.
Fleet-Level Insights
Total and average distance driven
Operating radius and utilization patterns
Percentage of nighttime driving
Average number of trips per day
Overall fleet FAIR Score
Vehicle-Level Insights
Last active date and utilization trends
Individual vehicle FAIR Scores using a 350-to-850 scale
Driving-behavior indicators, such as trip frequency and nighttime driving
Operational patterns showing where, when, and how vehicles are used
Together, these insights help fleets understand both behavioral risks, such as speeding or aggressive driving, and operational exposure associated with routes, congestion, operating environments, and time of day.
DATA SOURCE
Where Does the Data Come From?
TIPR™ is generated by SpeedGauge through the Driven Data Network using telematics data and validated GPS information collected from vehicles operating on public roadways during the reporting period. Depending on data availability, the report may include:
GPS distance and activity data
Trip behavior
Time-of-day and nighttime-driving patterns
Road and operating-environment context
Odometer readings

WHY IT MATTERS
Why Share Your TIPR™ with Your Insurance Broker?
Insurance renewals are often based on historical information — claims experience and loss history. TIPR™ lets your fleet add context by sharing measurable driving insights collected through OneView.
Without TIPR™
Conversations lean on what has already happened — past claims and loss history are the main evidence a broker or underwriter has to work with.
With TIPR™
You can demonstrate the operational practices you're implementing today — a standardized, data-backed view of how your fleet operates and what your team is doing to reduce risk.
USING THE REPORT
Turn Fleet Risk Insights into Action
TIPR™ does more than summarize fleet activity. It can help managers identify the factors contributing to risk and determine where action may be needed. Your team can use these insights to:
Identify vehicles with lower FAIR Scores
Coach drivers on behaviors such as speeding or aggressive driving
Monitor changes in fleet risk from month to month.
Evaluate exposure related to nighttime driving, congestion, routes, and higher-risk roads
Consider operational changes that may improve safety and reduce risk exposure
Document progress for future insurance discussions
